The FIAT CR.42 Falco was an Italian biplane fighter aircraft known during the Second World War for its maneuverability and robust construction. Produced from 1939 to 1943, it was one of the last biplanes to be used in large-scale combat. The aircraft was powered by a Fiat A.74 RC 38 radial engine with an output of approximately 840 hp, enabling speeds of up to around 440 km/h.
