The Vosper 72’6” Motor Torpedo Boat (MTB) 77 was a British fast torpedo boat used during World War II for offensive and patrol missions in coastal waters. This class was produced from the beginning of the war and was designed as a fast attack unit with a relatively light but powerful construction. The boat had a length of approximately 22 meters and was powered by three powerful Packard petrol engines, allowing speeds of up to about 40 knots. This high speed made it possible to strike quickly and then retreat.
